Wow! Another year has come and gone. The picnic was a lot of fun again this year. We were lucky to have summer like weather (although a bit hot). The skies were clear and the breeze was cool. We keep breaking records. We had 102 dogs come this year (189 humans). 10 doggies took the CGC test and 9 passed (Sorry 10th guy! better study before the next test!)! We had a huge raffle drawing. There were so many contributors to the cause. Thank you! Thank you! to everyone who contributed to the raffle offering. That electric scooter, and the autographed hockey stick (Blackhawks) were so awesome. Congratulations to all the winners. We made $4333.00 at the picnic this year!! WOW!! That is a lot of vaccinations, a surgery or two and a couple of heartworm treatments even!!

We played games (for kids AND dogs), face painting for all, picture corner where you could make a photo button, food, beverages. Patti says, "It was the best picnic yet!!! The raffles prizes were awesome! Thanks to everyone for that - alot of the people attending brought stuff to donate for the raffle. The volunteers get a BIG thank you - you are as always AWESOME. Lets hope next year is just as successful." Not only the picnic, but all the little jobs throughout the year too. Without volunteers, Recycled Rotts would not function. And thanks to Patti for keeping the organization together. Our Rotties thank everyone too.... We see the thanks in their eyes and their slurpy kisses already though, don't we?
