MABEL

It is with great sadness that I inform you my RR Mabel adopted Dec 15, 2013 crossed the rainbow bridge last Monday, April 2nd. She was the most girl who simply didn't understand the concept of "stranger". Mabel was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease about a year after I adopted her (at what I believe to be the young age of 3 or 3.5) and for the last 2 years was on subQ fluids daily...up to 2 liters/day during her last weeks. She was such a trooper and much loved. Thank you for allowing me to share our lives together albeit for only 4 some years. I am broken hearted and miss her dearly but am somewhat allayed she's no longer in pain.

Roxy was a great dog and will be missed terribly.

In Memory of Brina.
We adopted Brina in May 2006 from RR as a companion for our older RR, Rocco who we had adopted the year before at the age of 10. Rocco went peacefully on 1/28/07. Brina had been queen of the house since then. She was diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumors last February. Thanks to the wonder drug Palladia we enjoyed the entire summer in remission. But we knew it wouldn't be a cure and in November the cancer returned with a vengence. Brina went to the rainbow bridge bravely on 12/20/14.

This girl was one of the original Recycled Rotts, proudly wearing tag No. 134 -- the 34th dog to be adopted from the rescue. She will be sadly missed by her family, and when she passed away was approximately 12 years old.
