Passed away May 5, 2019

On Sunday we made the very difficult decision to say goodbye to our dear sweet Ranger. Ranger came to us as gangly 9 month old Rottie with not a mean bone in his body - unless you were the mailman, FedEx/UPS driver, or a down comforter. A true ambassador to his breed, Ranger was an easy going, loving, friendly, 100 lb lap dog. A great big brother to Rosie and then Stella and Willis - he was the kindest, gentle giant to both large and small. Though he spent the first nine months locked up in a cage, we made sure his life was full of fun and adventure. And on his last day he took his final breaths outside surrounded by family - human, canine and feline. Thank you Recycled Rotts for all that you do to save and re-home these amazing dogs. We were so very lucky that Ranger picked us and thankful for all the memories that we made with such a special dog.

"The World's Best Rottweiler, ELEANOR, passed away on July 24, 2001, just shy of her 10th birthday. We were so lucky to find her. Ellie went from frightened and tentative, to loving and outgoing. She will always be our beloved "Couch Muffin." -- Teresa Miller and Martin Welfeld."
