Beloved friend and companion of David, Ann, Raven and Willie Jo
Born in July 2012, adopted on 7/31/2013 and died peacefully on 2/3/2021 (8.5 years old).
Mattie was more than just a companion. She was family and kept us grounded during 2020. She was diagnosed with bone cancer in her front right ankle in September 2019, underwent amputation, and lived a very happy 16 months after that. She loved meeting with her friends at the Veterinary Specialty Center and was one of the strongest patients there, even with a missing leg. Mattie was loyal to the end and we are all beyond sad. One day we will meet again.
P.S. Mattie joins Boxcar, Taylor and Raider, all family from Recycled Rotts.
